Metro uses books accepted widely in the massage community and training includes a firm base in Swedish massage. You will gain knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology and Kinesiology (the muscles), experience in our clinic with real life clients, and learn business practices to take with you into your own practice.
Our partnerships with AMTA and ABMP keep us ahead in the field, we are able to see trends and keep our program fresh and up to date. Our program requires 700 hours which exceeds the state requirement 600 hours. The extra 100 hours establishes us as ahead of the curve on trends in the field and gives the student more hands on time to hone their craft. Students will be prepared to take their certification test and apply for a license at the end of the program, and we help with the process.
